Welcome Desk Attendant

Welcome Desk Attendants are the first impression of the Human Performance Center. They are responsible for checking in patrons into the HPC while providing a high level of quality customer service i.e. greeting and providing program information, answering phones, all other duties as assigned.

Facility Supervisor

The Facility Supervisor must be able to solve on-the-job issues by utilizing effective critical thinking and decision-making skills. Ability to work with different organizations and be a problem solver. This person will enforce all building procedures & guidelines and be able to communicate to a diverse group of patrons why the procedures and guidelines are in place. They will also assist in opening and closing the building during the week and also on weekends and holidays. All other duties as assigned for the position.

Lifeguard

As a Lifeguard you must be Red Cross Lifeguard Certified. Some duties of lifeguards at this facility include; Monitor and maintain the pool area, restrooms, and locker rooms, perform cleaning assignments, attend monthly inservice training, attend assigned shifts and is on-time ready to work.

Climbing Wall Attendant

Climbing Wall Attendant are responsible for the checking in patrons, supervision of climbers, climber safety, at the HPC climbing wall.Must exhibit excellent customer service and provide a safe inclusive environment for all climbers. Duties include but are not limited to maintaining a clean workplace, having patrons sign waivers, handing out equipment, supervision of the climbing wall and bouldering wall, making sure patrons are following standards for climbing wall, answering climbing questions, assist with teaching skill clinics, and other duties as assigned.
